Young Demography research group of the German Demography Association (DGD e.V.)
Bylaws
- The research group "Young Demography" is a research group in terms of § 2(1) of the DGD-ordinance.
- Ordinance and implementation rules of the DGD apply unrestrictedly.
- All members of the DGD can be member of the research group (either by online registration or by contacting one of the chairmen). The research group does not charge any membership fee.
- Members of the research group elect a chairman and his/her deputy who are representing the research group. The election takes place during the annual (autumn) meeting for a term of two years. Re-election is possible.
- The chairman publishes the Call for Papers for the annual (autumn) meeting at least 5 months prior to the scheduled date for the meeting (via announcement on the webpage or posting of e-mails within the DGD-distribution system). Invitations for the research group meetings will be issued by the chairman via e-mail at least two months prior to the scheduled date for the meeting including the announcement of the agenda.
- The research group will time its meetings accordingly to other DGD-events and activities.
- All activities of the research group will be outlined in an annual report which will be sent to all board members.
